IE浏览器上有个自带的MSN搜索引擎,因为整合在IE上，所以用IE浏览网页时进行搜索很方便，但IE浏览器自带的搜索引擎并不是我们自己习惯使用的那种。如果要是能将IE的MSN搜索引擎改为自己所喜好的那种搜索引擎，岂不是更好？在这里我可以教大家一个方法，就是通过修改注册表使IE自带的搜索引擎改为自己想要的搜索引擎。具体方法如下：

这里以使用 *** 作系统Windows XP为例，在桌面上单击“开始”，打开“运行”，在“运行”一栏中输入“regedit.exe”(注：在修改注册表前最好先备份一下，以防止修改失败），打开注册表编辑器。而后依次展开“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\search”,我们可以将右边窗口的CustomizeSearch和SearchAssistant的键值均为 http://ie.search.msn.com/{SUB_RFC1766}/srchasst/srchcust.htm ，在这里我们可以将 SearchAssistant 键值改为自己想要的网址，如改为“ [url]http://www.google.com/” （输入时不要带引号），而后退出注册表。再重新打开IE，单击工具栏上“搜索”选项，就可以看到自己熟悉的搜索引擎了，怎么样？不是很方便吗，大家不妨试试.
