新西兰大学课程描述中的 “0.125EFTS”是什么

EFTS stands for Equivalent Full Time Student. This is the measure by which all tertiary education providers report student enrolments to the New Zealand government. The EFTS value of a paper indicates what proportion of a normal full-time programme of study the particular paper makes up.

Most universities in NZ have a 360 point undergraduate degree structure with 15 point courses at all levels equating to 0.125 EFTS. These include:

University of CanterburyUniversity of AucklandAuckland University of TehologyVictoria UniversityWaikato UniversityMassey University

Lincoln University

The exception to this is Otago University which offers 18 point courses which have a wvalue of 0.15 EFTS.

Usually 1 point in an undergraduate degree at each of these universities is of equivalent value, i.e. 1 point at Canterbury = 1 point at Waikato.
