比如，我的学生在进行自我介绍时，会经常说这样的话：“l like English very much. I like my English teacher, because she is very beautiful and kind.” 这个时候,我一定要回复一句:"I like you very much，too.Because you're very lovely."这样就直接拉近了老师与学生之间的距离。

三，用暖心的话与学生交流，以责任心向学生承诺。

我在高中任教20余年，每一节新班开课都会和学生说几句暖心的话并承诺道：“不管你们以前英语是什么样的基础，到了高中都是一个新的起点。

老师会对你们一视同仁。

只要你想学英语，老师就有信心把你教会。

”虽然简短几句话，但学生会很信服这个老师。

因为他们看到了一个平易近人、一视同仁又尽职尽责这样难得的好英语老师。

In my opinion, new English teachers should do as follows in order to be rapidly accepted by his or her students at the very beginning of new school terms:Firstly, introduce yourself briefly. A brief self-introduction is necessary and important, which will make a good impression on your students at the first sight. You may introduce to them your name, your education background and major, your hobbies , your characters and so on. If time permits , you can ask a few of students to introduce themselves. Secondly, make a commitment and make a demand of your students. You may say to them like this: “I will do my best to teach you well , I am expecting you to work hard at you lessons.Do remember the proverbs: No pain, no gain. Practice makes perfect ” Thirdly, give the first vivid and interesting lesson for the new term. As is well known, teaching and educating are teachers’ bounden duty. In the first period of lesson,you should convince your students by means of pure English pronunciation and intonation, abundant English knowledge, effective teaching methods and personal charm and vitality .All in all, it is quite important for you to introduce yourself appropriately at the very beginning of new school terms although it is not easy for you to be accepted by students in the short term.
