The NCL30001 is a highly integrated controller for implemenTIng power factor correcTIon (PFC) and isolated step down ac−dc power conversion in a single stage, resulTIng in a lower cost and reduced part count soluTIon. This controller is ideal for LED Driver power supplies with power requirements between 40 W and 150 W. The single stage is based on the flyback converter and it is designed to operate in continuous conduction (CCM).

The NCL30001 can be configured as as constant current driver or a fixed output driver for two stage LED lighting applications. In addition, the controller features a proprietary Soft−Skipto reduce acoustic noise at light loads. Other features found in the NCL30001

include a high voltage startup circuit, voltage feedforward, brown out detector, internal overload timer, latch input and a high accuracy multiplier. The multi−function latch off pin can also be used to implement an overtemperature shutdown circuit.

NCL30001LEDGEVB:80W 0.9PF CC LED DRIVER

The NCL30001LEDGEVB is a power factor corrected isolated single stage LED Driver intended for applications range from 40 - 100W that require a direct constant current output. The board is set up for a nominal current of 1A and a maximum forward voltage of approximately 50 V. The output voltage and current values are user configurable and the maximum voltage can be adjusted up to 1.5A.
The driver is intended for general and architectural LED lighting application such as wall packs, parking structure lighting, and outdoor lighting. The driver can be PWM dimmed from the secondary side. The board is setup to accept 90-265 Vac but with minor component changes it can be used for 277 Vac industrial lighting applications.
