The ATtiny3217/ATtiny1617 are members of the tinyAVR® 1-series of microcontrollers, using the AVR® 8-bit processor with hardware multiplier, running at up to 20 MHz and with 16 KB or 32 KB Flash, 2 KB ofSRAM, and 256 bytes of EEPROM in a 24-pin package. The tinyAVR 1-series uses the latesttechnologies with a flexible and low-power architecture including Event System and SleepWalking,accurate analog features and advanced peripherals. Capacitive touch interfaces with proximity sensingand driven shield are supported with the integrated QTouch® peripheral touch controller.

The ATtiny3217 family of microcontrollers incorporates several innovative features including high-accuracy analog, the Peripheral Touch Controller (PTC), the Event System and Core Independent Peripherals (CIPs) to allow you to create highly-responsive sensor nodes. This family offers up to 32 KB Flash memory in 8- to 24-pin packages to support a wide range of applications including industrial, consumer, appliances, automotive and Internet of Things (IoT) sensor nodes.

The ATtiny3217 Xplained Pro evaluation kit is a hardware platform to evaluate the ATtiny3217microcontroller.Supported by the Atmel Studio integrated development platform, the kit provides easy access to thefeatures of the ATtiny3217 and explains how to integrate the device into a custom design.

The Xplained Pro MCU series evaluation kits include on-board Embedded Debuggers. No external toolsare necessary to program or debug the ATtiny3217.

Xplained Pro extension kits offer additional peripherals to extend the features of the board and ease thedevelopment of custom designs.

The ATtiny3217 Xplained Pro evaluation kit is a hardware platform to evaluate the ATtiny3217.

The kit offers a set of features that enables the ATtiny3217 user to get started with the ATtiny3217peripherals right away and to get an understanding of how to integrate the device into their own design.
