（一）无翅亚纲（Subclass Apterygota）： 此亚纲俱为先天无翅之种类通称无翅类， 共 分四目：

1.原尾目（Protura）：在三十二目中，此目惟一不具触角者；通称原尾虫，又 称W，台湾已发现种类不多。

2.d尾目（Collembola）：腹下具跳器、攫器及腹管为此目昆虫之主要特征，通称为跳虫，喜栖于潮湿之草地。

6.蜚蠊目 ( Blattaria ) ：通称之蟑螂 ，有生活于屋舍之种类，亦有活跃于野外湿地或落叶下之种类；前者大多为害虫，后者则以腐败有机物为生，不曾对人类造 成危害。

7.等翅目 (Isoptera ) ：此即通称之白蚁，为社会性昆虫，有些种类在肠道中有鞭毛虫共生。在森林生态系中扮演分解者 之角色。

8.螳螂目(Mantoidea) : 主要特征 为前脚贝一对镰刀状之捕捉脚，通称螳螂 ，乃肉食性昆虫。

Archeognatha|石s目 （ Dipl- 双， ura- 尾）。 体细长，约 2 ～ 5mm ，少数种可达 50mm ，如发现于我国 *** 的藏铗尾虫体长可达 49mm 。口器咀嚼式，内口式；触角丝状或念珠状；缺单眼和复眼；腹部 10 节，第 1 ～ 7 节或第 2 ～ 7 节上有成对的刺突和泡囊；尾须或细长多节，或呈铗状不分节。 双尾虫极怕光，喜生活在阴湿的地方，一般在土表腐殖质层的枯枝落叶中、倒木下、腐烂的树干中或石缝内，有些生活在蚁穴或洞穴中，遇惊扰就转入缝隙内。一般在离地表 0 ～ 30cm 范围内活动。全世界已知 800 余种，我国已知约 40 种，其中伟铗趴 Atlasjapyx atlas Chou et Huang 为国家二级保护动物。
