美国佐治亚理工学院研究生申请怎么样

院系设置

佐治亚理工共设有6个学术学院，分别是：

• 建筑学院（College of Architecture）
• 计算学院（College of Computing）
• 工程学院（College of Engineering）
• 理学院（College of Sciences）
• 商学院（Ernest Scheller Jr. College of Business）

申请材料与条件

佐治亚理工研究生申请要求递交的材料包括：

• 申请表：通过Applyweb进行申请
• 申请费：*(2)   
• 成绩单：成绩单翻译需有翻译正确声明，私自翻译通过WES认证递交无效
• GRE：所有专业均需要有 GRE成绩，商科专业需要有GMAT成绩
• TOEFL成绩：最低79分，不接受雅思成绩*(3) 
• 推荐信：3封
• 其他各系或项目所指定的材料：个人作品、写作样本等*(4)

费用与奖学金

佐治亚理工设有Fellowship、Grants、Scholarship、TA与RA四种类型的奖学金。具体如下：

• Fellowship：由学校设立的Fellowship只设有“President's Fellowships”和“Georgia Tech Institute Fellowship (GTIF)”，仅限美国公民或永久居民可申请，国际学生无法申请。*(7)
• Grants：只对美国公民或永久居民开放，只对本科生开放
• Scholarship：通常是一些Merit-based奖学金，金额有限，新生无法申请*(8)
• TA与RA：佐治亚理工研究生60%的奖学金来自于TA和RA，对国际学生新生而言，TA和RA基本上是其奖学金唯一的来源。*(9)

综上，国际学生可通过以下两种方法申请奖学金：

• 第一种：联系各系、项目获取TA、RA等奖学金
• 第二种：寻找其它组织或私人基金的奖助学金，具体请查看佐治亚理工奖学金资助办公室（OSFA）的官方网站

第一种方式是国际学生奖学金的主要来源，学生在申请时应主动与系里的导师或招生办联系。一般来说PhD较容易获得，硕士研究生难度较大，第一年通常以TA为主，该奖学金对TOEFL的要求较高。
