usedto used to有何用法？

【used to有何用法？】1. used to：modal verb. (negative didn't use to) used to say that something happened continuously or frequently during a period in the past; expressing a frequent or continuous action in the past; in questions and negative sentences usu. with did. 表示过去的习惯性动作，过去如此，现在不再这样了。

常译作“过去常常”。

表达过去经常的或持续的行为, 在疑问句和否定句中通常与did连用):* Mary used to be a model worker. 玛丽过去一直是模范工作者。

* I used to live in London. 我过去一直住在伦敦.* Life here is much easier than it used to be. 如今在此地生活比起从前可舒服多了.* There used to be an apple tree here, didn't there? 从前这里有一个苹果树, 对吧?* You didn’t use to like pop songs. 你过去常常不喜欢流行歌曲。

* You didn't use to drink. 你过去不喝酒。

* Did you use to go swimming in the river when you were young? 你小时候经常在河里游泳吗？* Used he go to school on foot? 他过去步行上学吗？2. 注意used to 和be used to的区别：Do not confuse used to do something with be used to something.You use used to do something to talk about something that happened regularly or was the case in the past, but is not now: I used to smoke, but I gave up a couple of years ago.You use be used to something / to doing something to talk about something that you are familiar with so that it no longer seems new or strange to you: be used to doing something的意思是“习惯于做某事”，to的后面用动名词，它可以用现在、过去和将来等时态，be可以用get、become连系动词代替。

3. 注意be used to do something的意思是“被用来做某事”，是动词短语use ...to do的被动语态结构，used是动词的过去分词（be done 被动时态）。

Knives are used to cut things.小刀是用来切东西的。

4. used to与would的不同用法used to可表示过去的习惯动作或状态, 可无时间状语，不能与表示一段时间的状语连用；而would只表示过去的习惯动作，不接表示认识或状态的动词, 往往要带有时间状语，常与often, frequently, sometimes, for hours等连用。

used to泛指过去的习惯性动作或状态，；而would指的是talk about things in the past that happened often or always:表示过去的习惯性动作时，He would always turn and wave at the end of the street.People used to think that the sun went around the earth. 人们过去常常认为，太阳绕着地球转Mr. Lee would sit for hours, deeply thinking. 李先生过去经常一坐好几个小时沉思着。

下面分成三个部分讲解used to 的用法，让你彻底理解掌握。

1.used to 单独做谓语动词表示过去经常，为谓语动词——一般过去时态（常态）示例如下：He used to go to our school.他曾在我们学校就读。

We used to sashay after supper.过去我们总是在晚饭后去散步。

I used to get up early in the morning.我过去通常起到很早。

2.used to 是形容词，而不是谓语动词，真正的谓语动词为Be动词， 如：am/is/are used to 现在习惯于was/were used to 过去习惯于will/would be used to 将习惯于示例：I am used to the hot weather.我习惯于热天气She is used to living in the country.她习惯于住在乡下。

She was used to living a hard life.她习惯于做艰苦的工作了。

She will be used to getting up early.她将会习惯于早起。

句子中已经有了谓语动词be，且used to 这里已经不是动词，所以to无需当成动词不定式符号了，所以to 后面可以接名词或者接动词ing形式。

注：如果把be used to理解成被动的话，也是成立的，则以上示例中的used to都是被动时态的主动词。

3.used to 作为被动，意思为被用来A data queue object is used to send data from one program to another.一个数据队列对象用于将数据从一个程序发送到另一个程序。

Some bread, cheese, carrot slices and pickled gherkin were used to create this locomotive.这个火车头是用面包、奶酪、胡萝卜片、腌嫩黄瓜做的。
