（梁行至舞台中央，正欲于观众打招呼，台下左部分观众打着“西游记迷”的牌子，开始热情鼓掌嚣叫：“我们是西游记迷！我们是西游记迷！”）（注：若字幕牌子达不到醒目的效果才使用口号，否则不用。）
梁：（在一旁傻眼）众位看官，俺要解释，俺不是孙悟空，俺不会武功（乐律唱词），小弟乃是湖南人氏，姓梁，名山伯……
（台下右部分观众打着“水浒传迷”的牌子，以热烈鼓掌与嚣叫打断梁的说话，其中一人高唱：“大河向东流，天上的星星参北斗……”）
梁：（几欲晕倒，忙制止）：错了，你们都弄错了。这出剧目不是演《西游记》，也不是演《水浒》，而是上演《梁祝》呀！

(说话间，转过脸，正好与梁四目相对，两人都呆住了，沉静半晌)

编剧：等一下！（编剧冲上场来，抓住梁一阵暴打。）
梁：（边躲边叫）唉，哎，你干吗打人，怎么，想以势欺人，公报私仇呀！
编剧：（停住手，气愤的指着梁）我叫你好好熟悉剧本，你不熟悉剧本，这下捅漏子了吧！人家都还没自我介绍，你咱就知道人家叫英台了！？
梁：哼，（站起身，气愤的指着编剧）还好意思说，就你那剧本里的那些瓜哇岛上的不知哪里的蚂蚁文，我能读懂那我早就是世界著名考古学家了。我演到现在都全靠自我发挥的，俺刚才只不过看见这位哥们长得确实俊俏，稍微分了点神，把“英俊的兄台”省略了几个字，直接称为“英台”了，英文这叫“shortcut”，懂不？

剧务甲上，胸前贴一卷型纸，碎步滑到中间，打开，字为：“我是跑马灯。”然后转身，后贴一纸贴：“一年之后。”剧务甲以背对人之姿态，碎步从另一边下场。
（舞台一边，马文才登场，另外一边，布置教室，众多学生坐在其中，包括梁与祝。讲台上一老者正在滔滔不绝。）
马文才：小人我住在苏州的城边，家中有屋又有田，金钱上万千。老爸来当官，生活乐天天，熊掌鹿茸，鱼翅鲍贝，吃过何止一百遍，一百遍。但谁知我心间，仍有一遗憾，今年二十三，却从未把美女的手儿牵。祝家有女初长成，于是上门睹芳颜。谁知那祝英台，胆大心细目无天，隐瞒身份把书念。为求此红线，唯有大胆无畏追上前，一边读书篇，一边追红颜，任凭风雨意志坚，定要把她手儿牵，手儿牵。（乐律唱词）

（众哗然，老者刚才注意其颇久，现更加不满意的盯着他。）

老者：（走下）小丫，你新来的吧！

（众演员下。）
第三幕
（剧务乙上，同剧务甲，前书“我也是跑马灯！”，后书“两年半过去了！”）
（舞台一旁，院长夫人上。）
夫人：（焦急的来回踱步）如何是好，如何是好，这可如何是好呀！（再来回踱步）哎，我刚和祝夫人视频电话过，想不到马文才在学校搞得像gay似的缠着祝英台不说，竟叫他父亲上门提请亲去了。这祝家虽是一方富贾，可这马家却是中央有后台，地方有保护的高干家庭呀，那可是惹不起的呀！等小英来了，必须要和她合计合计。
