System Application Software

包括图形软件如电子海图、数据库软件如船舶数据库等。有些应用软件应由厂商根据当地的具体情况开发，随设备提供；有些用户可自行开发。对系统应用软件的要求是：

应用数据库很多，需依据具体的用户要求进行专门设计。

从上述参数可以看出，目前新型船用低速柴油机的S/D值已达到4.0以上，活塞平均速度在8.3～8.5m/s左右, 平均有效压力高达19.0bar, 最大燃烧压力在140bar 以上, 而燃油消耗率则下降到169 g/kW×h, 其动力性和经济性已经达到了相当高的水平。

2） 船用中速柴油机当前使用情况和技术水平

船用中速柴油机目前虽然生产厂家较多，但主要集中于几家在公司，据1998年世界各国造船造机结果统计，Wärtsilä 公司占市场份额的40%，MAN B&W公司占市场份额的22.4%, Mak占市场份额的11.2%。其余公司占26.4%。Wärtsilä和MAN B&W公司近年主要机型的工作参数如下：
