针对“洛丽塔小猫”的留言,我不得不再说上几句:其实一个单位要不要你是和学校里的学习成绩没有太大关系的,用人单位最想要的是有头脑,思维敏捷,而又真诚、听话的员工。只把好的成绩拿去,按照我上边的话说,既是按照他们的要求拿了成绩,又有自己的想法在里面,我想任何单位都不会拒绝一个有头脑的人的。照我说的做,至少你能让单位的人感觉到与众不同。这样,留你则会对你高看一眼,不留也和拿坏成绩去给他们看的结果一样。怕什么?

考研登记照不可以ps;

考研证件照要求:

①本人近三个月内正面、免冠、无妆、彩色电子证件照(白色背景,用于准考证照片)。

②仅支持jpg或jpeg格式,建议大小不超过10M,宽高比例3:4。

③坐姿端正,双眼自然睁开并平视,耳朵对称,左右肩膀平衡,头部和肩部要端正且不能过大或过小,需占整个照片的比例为2/3。

④请不要化妆,不得佩戴眼镜、隐形眼镜、首饰、美瞳拍照。

⑤照明光线均匀,脸部不能发光,无高光、光斑,无阴影、红眼等。

Preparation

PS的精髓在于将自己的motivation和Objective充分展现出来,它应该是personaland analytical,
任何generalization都需要避免,PS的关键在于用specific, personal

写PS时,要尽量完全的真诚。这是诉说一个你自己的故事,你不是在设法创造一个理想的申请者,而是just be
yourself。任何的伪造都是很容易被识破的,只有完全敞开的真诚,才能真正打动admission
officer,也才能真正的认识你自己,才能真正让你选择最适合你的graduate program。

用specific details来展现你的motivation很重要。这些specific
details可以包括研究和工作经历、课程、你跟你所感兴趣的领域的人的交流、你读的书、你参加的学术报告会,以及任何可以展现你为何选择并适合这个研究领域的原因。

你需要明确你未来的方向,至少为自己未来5~10年的事业做一个规划,而这个规划应该很适合你所申请的这个graduate
program,那也正是你选择这个领域的原因。

描述为什么这个graduate program适合你,不要用一些空洞的赞美性的语言,一定要be specific, be analytical。

一定不要出现一些粗心的错误,那只能证明你不够认真对待。

避免说一些空洞无意义的套话,避免陈词滥调。这里可以举个例子。

修改前:In the first project Imanaged, I learned many valuable lessons about the
importance of teamwork

修改后:In the first project Imanaged, I made an effort to incorporate all my
colleagues as equal members ofa team, soliciting their feedback and deferring to
their expertise as needed

修改前的这句话很空洞的讲team
work,没有任何details;修改后的话就展开讲了我是怎么展现teamwork的。在写PS的时候一定要注意展开这些细节。最好的方法就是以自己的亲身经历开始,让那些展现你的quality和personality的东西自然流露出来,你的那些品质不需要总结性的generalities,
人们会从你对自己经历的specific details的描述判断出你有哪些quality。

不要企图把你所有的经历都写进PS里,PS追求的不是广度,而是深度。好的PS是深入挖掘一个或两个主题、时间或观点的细节。

注意避免敏感话题,因为你不知道admission officer的个人偏见。

不要用冗余的长句。短句更加有力,因为他们更加direct和to the point。举例:

修改前:"My recognitionof the fact that the project was finally over was a deeply
satisfying momentthat will forever linger in my memory"

修改后:"Completing theproject at last gave me an enduring sense of
fulfillment"

像the fact that这种词就是完全冗余的。
